FAQ

FORMAT AND ACCESS
LOOP 69 is an hourly endurance event. Run a 6.9 km loop, return before the next hourly start, reset and go again.
It borrows the hourly-loop idea, then goes its own way: a different distance, identity and event culture. The final competitive rules are still being defined.
Each loop is 6.9 km. A new loop starts every hour.
As many as you can. Complete a loop, return, reset and decide whether to go again. The last runner standing wins, and LOOP 69 continues while someone is still running. It is an ultra, after all.
Both, obviously.
Every hour, we flip it. Clockwise, then counter-clockwise, then back again. Everyone moves in the same direction together.Same loop. Different perspective and keeps things interesting.

No. Kids run free on a shorter loop with no time limit. Run before school, come for a loop at lunch, or join after Kita and cheer on the parents. Final details will come later.
Kids run free on their own shorter LOOP, with no fixed start time and no time pressure. Around it, we’re looking at simple activities with local organisations from the region, focused on nature, movement and making things. No plastic giveaways, no random fairground entertainment.
Yes. Families belong at LOOP 69; they are not an afterthought. The programme and facilities will be announced later.
Yes. We’re working with a small number of local partners for proper coffee and good food. No generic catering village, no endless rows of food trucks. We’d rather keep it small, regional and genuinely good.
PLACE, TIMING AND REGISTRATION
The first LOOP 69 is planned for Nänikon, Switzerland, in winter 2027. The exact date and venue are still to come.
Registration is not open yet. Join early access to hear first when event details and tickets become available.
PRINCIPLES AND CONDUCT
It is a design rule, not a claim. We aim to avoid unnecessary impact, use public transport and reusable systems where possible, protect the place and measure what remains.
No smoking. No deliberate littering. Either means removal from the event; no warning is required.
Carry out what you carry in unless you use an official collection point. We remove our markings, temporary materials and waste so no avoidable trace remains.
FOOT LAB
An interactive experiment about feet, footwear and movement. Compare shapes, explore different ideas and ask better questions. We are working to let people test shoes and other gear, subject to the right partners and safe logistics.
No. Foot Lab is educational, not medical. It does not diagnose, prescribe or claim that one type of footwear is best for everyone.
